Expeller Mechanical extraction plant with an estimated capacity of 200 tons per day, depending on feedstock.

Process Overview:

• Initial Processing: Oilseed material is conveyed from raw material bins to a 2-pair hi-roller mill, followed by a vertical hammer mill for further particle reduction.
• Conditioning: A series of steps, including a 36” cooker/drier and 14” conditioner, prepare the material for oil extraction.
• Core Equipment: Six Anderson 33 Super Duos, each with a capacity of approximately 1 ton/hr, are ideal for high-oil-bearing materials like canola, sunflower, peanuts, and copra, achieving residual oils in the 7-8% range.
• Oil Filtration: Post-expeller, oil goes through a screening tank for fines removal and two Shriver plate and frame filters for final filtration before bulk storage.
• Cake Processing: Expeller cake is cooled in a vertical counterflow cooler and sent to a pulverizer for the final meal grind. The cooler features a filtration bag house to remove dust particles.
