Andritz Horizontal Mixer

A horizontal mixer has an agitator main shaft with paddles or a ribbon, depending on the application. The most common application for this equipment is in animal feed, where mixers blend solid ingredients (previously ground) and liquid ingredients per specific formulas, with specific mixing time (wet and dry time) inside the unit. A liquid manifold and a manually added ingredients hopper are optional for this equipment. Carbon steel and stainless steel construction are available depending on the application.
