Gleelen Counterflow Dryer

The hydraulically driven discharge system drops the entire batch to the subsequent deck after a pre-set period, and only after that deck has first dropped its batch, so that no cross-contamination can occur. In a batch dryer, each product batch is treated individually, with a separate drying zone on each drying deck. The amount of evaporation can be set per deck by varying the drying air volume and temperature.

Dryer exhaust air is recirculated back into the heater to maximize energy efficiency, and only a limited volume of air is exhausted when the relative humidity is high.
