In 1981 a young and dynamic company began its operations under the direction
of Mr. Ralph Romero, who is the founder and president.
R&D Equipment is an American company incorporated in Fort Worth,
Texas USA that nowadays represents the most prominent manufacturing
companies in the process equipment and engineering systems in the
USA and Europe.
We work with customers in the USA, Canada, Mexico and other countries
in different parts of the world, who are devoted to industries such
as the oilseed, animal feeds and snack processing, as well as rendering
and oleo chemical production for more specialized products.
Our whole staff is fully bilingual and its main task is to serve multiple
industries by offering them technical advice and equipment optimization
as well as implementing the most state-of-the-art technology to their
processes. Furthermore, we sell new equipment, spare parts, used or
re-constructed equipment and complete processing plants; we take care
of personnel training and we also provide support in the start-up
of new systems or projects for expansion of plants.
Our customers process in their plants a wide-range of products such
as cotton, soybean, coconut, peanut, sunflower, canola, and other
kind of oil seeds that are used to prepare products for daily use
such as cooking oils, margarines, shortening, salad dressings, peanut
butter, other extruded
products and all types of snacks, as well as oleo chemical products
such as glycerin, metil ester, and others.
R&D Equipment Company, is a dynamic organization who’s slogan
is "To help its customers and friends in the processing industry
with costs reduction, quality improvement of their final products
and to solve problems through the implementation of state-of-the-art
technology to increase the plant
capacity and efficiency."
R&D has an active role in the field attending annual conventions
organized by the American Oil Chemist Society (AOCS) in USA as well
as in Latin America, the International Oil Mill Superintendent Association
(IOMSA) in USA and the American Soybean Association (ASA) in Mexico.
Furthermore, our President Mr. Ralph Romero share his knowledge and
experience regarding the processing industry as requested by the A&M
Texas University, in College Station Texas and by the American Soybean
Association in Mexico. He also oversee training of maintenance and
engineering personnel of the processing plants that require it.
